doseBusters ESP
The ESP(patented) is a muff-type device that also functions as a noise dosimeter in both the primary (on-ear) and secondary (off-ear) positions. The user is provided with total noise exposure information, even in environments that require occasional muff removal.

The ESP is a muff-type device with a difference. In addition to providing noise attenuation, it is a continuous monitoring device that provides cost-effective, daily continuous noise dose measurement for every user during every work shift. The noise sensor is located inside the ear muff cup, accurately measuring the noise level incident to the ear.

The ESP also accurately measures the user's noise exposure when the device is not worn over the ear, i.e. in the secondary position, thereby calculating the total noise dose incident to the wearer's ear.

The ESP Dosimeter Model 2001 is an insert-type device using ESP technology. The ESP 2001 features patented dual-channel operation and is ANSI Type II Compliant. Powered by single AA battery, the electronics package is non-obtrusive. (Dimensions: 2.80" X 2.20" X 0.71") Battery life is 180+ hours (roughly one month of every-shift operation), and the device features infra-red data output.
